Comments on: #1 reason to never take a new book that everyone is raving about to the hairdresser’s

I once read "having kids is like being pecked to death by ducks". It doesn't really hurt, but it is constant and can be very annoying.

I found some pictures of super hot hairstyles. Really, take a look at summer's best hairstyles from Damien Carney, celebrity hairstylist. Now, if only Joico will show us girls how to look so fantastic. Here is the link: hairstyles

It's actually a very cute cut. It's the cut I'm getting. It is technically your fault for now paying attention to your stylist or asking her what she meant if you didn't understand. The frizz comes from the layering she did with the razor. All you need to fix that is a little smoothing product and razored layers are actually really cute. Make sure to only put a small amount of product on your tips and even less through the shaft and roots because too much will just make your hair appear dirty and greasy. Maybe try some side bangs as well. They will bring the overall look together.

Your stylist was wrong for not doing a complete consultation. I do think your cut has potential. To help with styling: after shower on damp hair put a very small amout of shine ( Glass from redkin or anything simular) in palm of your hand, rub hands together then place on hair ends and midshaft( not roots, don't want to look oily). Then blow dry upside down to create body. Once dry take small amount of mousse in hand, rub hands together to ditribute it evenly, then lightly comb fingers downward through hair, again trying to avoid roots. This should help with frizz.

I have a brilliant idea... Come to Boston and have Curtis cut your hair!!

dasparky's suggestion is a good one. At least have someone try to fix it.

Here I thought you were exaggerating... Sorry K. =/

My unasked for advice: Go back to the salon and speak with the manager. At the very least, s/he will either have the hairdresser re-cut, or will assign someone else to try and fix it.

As someone who's had her share of bad haircuts (why are some folks so scared to cut hair short on a woman?), I feel your pain...
